Assistant Physical Therapist Schools

I have been a good student but never a great student in my entire life. When I finally graduated from high school, I had no idea what my potential careers could be with the credentials that I possessed.

With my grade point average, it just didn’t seem like it was possible for any school to accept me. I didn’t even know what possible career options would even be open for me if I did try. There didn’t seem to be a possible solution available to me.

Without any other option in mind at the time, I stayed with my 9-5 retail work while all of my friends pursued a higher level of education for a better career. Some of them became doctors over the years while others became lawyers.

Whenever we went out for dinner, I always felt like I was missing a component in my life. They all seemed to enjoy their life so much. They all went away for vacation when I stayed at home. They all could afford to spend a lot of money on the things that they liked. I simply could not afford it at all.

I realized one day that there was absolutely no way that I could live with myself for the rest of my life if I didn’t try to improve the quality of my life. There had to be a way out!

It wasn’t long before I learned about assistant physical therapist schools. Assistant physical therapist schools provide a 2 year program that would train students to be an assistant to physical therapists. I checked and the wage was definitely an upgrade for me if I was to be successful in becoming a physical therapist assistant so I decided to go for it.

The best part about applying for the program in a assistant physical therapist school is that the program is literally designed for anyone. You don’t need to have a science mind to be accepted and even I found enrollment to be easy and simple. The requirements are simple and not difficult to meet at all.

Most assistant physical therapist schools will only require that you be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma, passed some standard courses like Math 10 and Biology, have a recent immunization record and also have a clear criminal record check. It’s also important to have proper English.

It’s really that easy. You don’t need to have any higher level education at all. Some assistant physical therapist schools don’t even look for a high school diploma if the student is above a set age. I was stumped! Why didn’t I think of this before?

The assistant physical therapist schools that I had applied for had all accepted me without any problem. I was on the right track after all.

Everything after that was simple and easy. I easily understood all the concepts taught in my 2 year program and graduated. After graduation, it was easy for me to find work. I can’t believe that I didn’t think of it sooner.

The work is simple, professional and laid back overall I really enjoy my job now.

I can even tell my own vacation stories to my friends whenever we meet up and go to dinner. In fact, this Christmas I’ll be heading over to the Caribbean for my 2 week long vacation! I cannot love my job more than I do now. I am so glad that I took that first step.
